The north hall ends abruptly here at the quietest corner of the house. You also see an arched willow door with the smudged print of a heavy boot on its door, a white door, a narrow bookcase, an ash door with tarnished hinges and pitted wood, a walnut door covered in carvings of flowers and healing herbs, and a myrtlewood door with a filigreed silver knocker.
